What’s the meaning of the pre collections from a commercial point of view?

What’s the
meaning of the pre – collections from a commercial point of view?
What does the customer consider them like?
The pre –
collections are today a useful instrument to everybody: they allow a
more coherent production with the timing of delivering to the
enterprises, and to us retailers, on the contrary, they guarantee to
receive the merchandise before it has to go on the market, to check
if the product is fine and ready to be sold. In such a way the final
customer doesn’t “perceive” a pre – collection. More easily
he observes the first shop windows and awards the product that more
than others gains the window.
Do
you agree with the creation of a unique moment of communication
gathering the man and woman collections, possibly on the same stage?
I don’t
think is a good idea. Stylists needs to express their creativity on
the man and woman collections in different moments.
It would be nice, in fact, to reduce the time between man and woman
parades.
