A new look for Giglio

September saw the inauguration of Giglio's Boutique for Ladies, a unique reality for Sicily.

This event involved stylists, personalities, and friends of Palermo's most famous family.

Giglio: a chain of  7 stores in the heart of Palermo. The Giglio stores include the "Giglio In Piccolo" for children, the "Giglio In Jeans" for older kids, and the Emporio Armani and Versus stores, as well as the “Giglio In” store that provide the very best for up-and-coming young women and managers. Then there are the men's and women's boutiques.

The company, which was founded in 1970, was created and organized by Michele Giglio. He and his two sons, Giuseppe and Federico, take care of the purchasing, management and company strategy, while his wife and his mother take care of all the direct dealings with the clientele.

The family invited all their clients, friends and illustrious guests to the inauguration of their renewed women's boutique in piazza Crispi. This historic shop which was given a new look consists of 4O0 square meters of light and designer labels. The "L" layout inside has several insets, each dedicated to a particular design label and relative accessories (Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Versace, Cavalli, Gucci, Fendi and YSL). There is also a part dedicated to Prada accessories and a VIP area.

A big success, therefore, for a company that's continually growing and planning to complete the renovation of its sales outlets by redesigning its men's boutique in 2001.
