The chambray, the poor fabric used by the marines in the early years of the 20th century, became popular in the 1967 thanks to Paul Newman who wore it in the movie “Cool Hand Luke”.
Its denim effect and lightness are perfect for shirts, dresses and pants, and makes it an excellent alternative to the real denim.
It is available in many different shades, from the indigo to the grey, and is also suitable for both a sporty and a refined look, even for jackets and bow ties.
