The maison's history: innovation, creation and design under the sign of tradition. 24 July 2015

The Italian luxury brand Casadei was born in 1958: at that time it was a small workshop in San Mauro Pascoli, a region of the hinterland of Emilia Romagna, where the Casadei spouses created thei shoes, to be exact sandals, particurarly appreciated by the tourists who visited the Adriatic Coast.
Thanks to the economic boom and to the growing prestige of the Made in Italy, the little workshop became a small shoe factory of excellence in less than ten years, and started to export to United States, Germany, and in the 70's even in Japan.
The first advertising campaigns, the first opening in Brussels in 1977, the consolidation of the international market helped the brand to reach fundamental results in 1944: Cesare Casadei, the son of Quinto e Flora Casadei, takes the reins becoming the new creative director, relying on his experience in the field, not merely from the artistic point of view, but also from for what concerns the marketing and production knowledges.
Cesare is the ideal link between tradition and craftmanship on one hand, and between management intuition and entrepreneurship on the other.
His policy does remain true to the historical heritage of the company,strongly linked to the Italian fine craftmanship.
