Met Gala2015 Oriental Inspirations

From India to Japan: Oriental ispirations.16 June 2015

The Oriental mood inspired by Chinese, Japanese and Indian influences is one of the SS 2015 trends. The Met Gala 2015 choose it as the event's theme, on the occasion of the exhibition "China:Through the looking glass". The result was a wonderful scenographyc runway on the red carpet, thanks to the designers who revisited this style giving it a modern spin.
Starting from the pattern until the cut, the oriental influence makes us dream about distant landscapes.
Kimono dresses, silk pants, mandarin collars... and the Orient-inspired outfit is ready!

And how would you wear the Oriental style?

Here you are some of my favourite pics:

1)The silk patterned dress with a wide skirt, created by Jhon Richmond.

2)The brocade jacket without revers, with three buttons, by Giorgio Armani.

3) The mandarin collar shirt with jewels, by Paciotti4US.

4) The asymmetric dress by Pinko.

5) The silk flared pants with nika pattern, by Roberto Cavalli.

6) The lurex coat with waist belt, designed by Manila Grace Denim.

7) The jacquard pants with fil coupè pattern by Mauro Grifoni.

8) The 3/4 sleeved silk dress with Indian pattern, designed by Etro.
