From the catwalk to the small screen, the legend of the Italian designer debuts with the second season of American Crime Story entitled "The Assassination of Gianni Versace".

Directed by Ryan Murphy, the Tv series will air in the UK on BBC Two in 2018 - the exact date is yet to be announced.
For all the fashion and Tv series enthusiasts, it will reveal everything about the life and success of Gianni Versace, from his private life to his murder - happened on the 15th of July - at the Andrew Cunanan's hand.
The homicide shocked not only the fashion world.
The international cast surely is going to be one of the keys to the success of the new season: Gianni Versace will be played by Èdgar Ramirez, Penelope Cruz will interpret Donatella Versace, the designer's sister. Ricky Martin will play the role of Antonio D'Amico, the historical partner of Gianni, and at last but not the least, Darren Criss will be Andrew Cunanan, the killer.
The memory of the Made in Italy fashion icon doesn't seem to vanish any soon.
Indeed, during the Milan Fashion Week - Spring/Summer 2018 collection - the Versace family surprised everyone by paying tribute to the flair and myth of Gianni Versace with a triumph of iconic themes, which once were the official symbols of the brand, and which still are very topical. On the catwalk, some of the most influent models of the moment like Kendall Jenner, Kaia Geber, wore dresses inspired by the cult collections of Gianni Versace.
But what amazed everyone was the ending.
When everything seemed to be over, the 5 top models, the indisputable symbol of 90's and muses of the designer, appeared on the catwalk: Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Helena Christensen. Those statuesque women accompanied Donatella Versace on the catwalk wearing some long golden dresses. A unique and magic moment, very emotional, an ending that will stand the test of time, and that honoured the memory of Gianni Versace in the best way possible.
