GIGLIO.COM's special project in collaboration with the non-profit organization 'a Strummula and Paura by Danilo Paura
The Sea and its Beauties is a capsule collection created by the Paura fashion brand featuring the drawing of the young artist Nihat.
As promoters of the ALL KIDS HAVE TALENT project in collaboration with 'a Strummula, we asked the children of a Bengali school of the Noce, a multicultural district of Palermo, to draw the beauty of the SEA using all their imagination.
The designer Danilo Paura, our creative partner for this project, chose one of the children's drawings and turned it into a leitmotiv for a bowling shirt and a t-shirt.
Proceeds from sales will be entirely donated to the organization to support and finance socio-educational, artistic, and cultural activities aimed at fighting educational poverty. 'a Strummula is a non-profit organization that bases its interventions on an educational and pedagogical approach aimed at triggering and facilitating social participation, social inclusion, active citizenship, intercultural and intergenerational dialogue processes.
The organization is firmly driven by the belief that art and creativity have an intrinsic transformative power, especially when combined with active citizenship practices, and that drawing children to art in all its form can start processes of social inclusion.
