Risacca Lab is a circular economy project whose mission is to protect marine environment by promoting innovative solutions to the reuse and recycling of the fishing industry, from fishnets to plastic recovered from the sea.
Giving a second life to fishnets also means finding solutions that are capable of generating employment in a sustainable way: the dedicated workshop will be located in the Periferica regenerated park, in Mazara del Vallo, with the intention to carry out the same project in other harbors all over the world.
